The Programme of Civil Air Transportation Management in Ankara Aeronautical Vocational School of Higher Education has admitted students setting their hearts on aviation and wishing to work in the field of civil aviation since 2012, and produced the first graduates in 2014.
The Programme of Civil Air Transportation Management in Ankara Aeronautical Vocational School of Higher Education has been authorised as the Authorised Ground Services Training Organisation by Directorate General of Civil Aviation which is the aviation authority of Turkey since 2013 and has been one of the distinguished institutes authorised in that domain.
The curriculum of the programme consists of the fundamental courses in civil aviation within the direction of the authority allocated by Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Besides, the students have courses that consist of significant topics in civil aviation such as Passenger Services, Ramp Services, Flight Operation, Basic Operation, Air Cargo Operation and Safety Management System, and the students that fulfil the requirements of success in those courses are certified which are authorised by Directorate General of Civil Aviation within the instructions of SHT- EĞİTİM/ HAD.
The Programme of Civil Air Transportation Management in Ankara Aeronautical Vocational School of Higher Education aims at comprehending the basic running of civil aviation organisations each of that is an organisation by including such fundamental management courses as Business Management, Management Organisation and Human Resources as well.
The language of the Programme of Civil Air Transportation Management in Ankara Aeronautical Vocational School of Higher Education is Turkish, however the curriculum includes Basic English, Professional English and Speaking as the institute is aware that the language of aviation is English.
The graduates of The Programme of Civil Air Transportation Management in Ankara Aeronautical Vocational School of Higher Education can work both in operational and administrative departments in airlines, air cargo and airport ground service organisations, and air terminal organisations. Furthermore, the graduates may continue their education by transferring undergraduate programs in the fields of aviation and management via external transfer exam.
