The Programme of Civil Air Transportation Management is an associate degree of 2 years which was started as Ground Handling Management in Aviation in 2012-2013 academic year at Ankara Vocational School of Higher Education with the purpose of raising the intermediate staff that civil aviation industry needs.

The first graduates of the programme were produced in 2014.

Based on the act of Council of Higher Education issued as 75850160-101.03.01/56157 in 2015, the programmes of Ground Handling Management in Aviation were changed as Civil Air Transportation Management.

The Programme of Civil Air Transportation Management at Ankara Vocational School of Higher Education has been authorised as Authorised Ground Services Training Organisation by Directorate General of Civil Aviation since 20th June, 2013.

The Programme of Civil Air Transportation Management at Ankara Vocational School of Higher Education can certify Passenger Services, Ramp Services, Flight Operation, Basic Operation, Air Cargo Operation and Safety Management System courses as authorised certificates by Directorate General of Civil Aviation within the scope of the authority given by Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

As of 2021-2022 Academic Year, the students continue their education life at Türkkuşu, Etimesgut Campus.
